Inflatable Obstacle Course Module – 5-Hour Hire

The Reactor Core is the newest expansion to our Containment Breach obstacle course, dropping participants straight into the heart of the facility.

Race through containment rings, squeeze between obstacle columns and navigate the central Reactor Core chamber before making your way to the exit.

Reactor Core can be hired as a standalone obstacle challenge or connected to Containment Breach to create a larger multi-stage course.

This version is operated as a dry-use obstacle course.

• Inflated Size: To be confirmed
• Clearance Required: 1.5 m on all sides
• Recommended Ages: 5+ years
• Max Participants: 2–4 in continuous flow
• Setup: Dry use only
• Hire Duration: 5 hours
• Power Requirements: 1 × dedicated 10 amp outlet within 30 m, subject to final equipment requirements

🔧 Setup Requirements

• Flat, clear grass area preferred
• Hard-surface setup available by prior arrangement and requires suitable ballast
• Minimum 1.2 m clear access path
• No stairs, steep slopes or tight access points
• Generator hire available for $250

⚠️ Supervision

A minimum of 1 Jumping Castles & Slides Cairns supervisor is required while Reactor Core is operating. This forms part of our public liability insurance and safety requirements and helps ensure the inflatable is operated safely for all users.

For public events, larger functions and higher-attendance bookings, we generally require a minimum of 2 people supervising the inflatable to assist with safe operation, participant flow and crowd control.

At least 1 supervisor must be supplied by Jumping Castles & Slides Cairns.

Where appropriate, the additional supervisor may be a suitable staff member or volunteer supplied by the customer, venue, school or event organiser. Any customer-supplied supervisor must be approved by JCSC beforehand and complete the required safety briefing.

When Reactor Core is connected to Containment Breach or another obstacle course configuration, supervision requirements will be determined based on the complete setup.

Depending on the size and nature of the event, additional JCSC supervisors may still be required. Final supervision requirements are determined by Jumping Castles & Slides Cairns.

Supervision rates:

• Monday to Saturday, up to 5:00pm: $95 per JCSC supervisor per hour
• After 5:00pm: $110 per JCSC supervisor per hour
• Sunday: $110 per JCSC supervisor per hour
• Public Holidays: $140 per JCSC supervisor per hour

Minimum JCSC supervision engagement is 3 hours.
